- 12–15 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
- 2 tsp plant-based oyster sauce
- 1½ tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1–2 green onions (sliced and chopped)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the plant-based oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar until well blended. Set aside.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- In a skillet or wok over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, taking care not to brown it.
- Add the lo mein noodles to the boiling water, stirring gently for about 30 seconds before draining them quickly into the skillet with garlic butter.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Turn off the heat and mix in grated Parmesan cheese and chopped green onions before serving.
