Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the Devil's Food cake mix box. Prepare the batter as directed and bake until done. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk with whipped cream and whisk until smooth.
  3. Cut cooled cake into cubes and layer in a trifle dish: start with cake cubes, drizzle caramel syrup, add cream mixture, and sprinkle toffee bits. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cream on top.
