Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your pan by greasing and flouring it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time to the creamed mixture; mix well after each addition.
  5. Stir in pumpkin puree and vanilla until combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just incorporated.
  7. Pour in the warm milk and mix until smooth.
  8. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
