Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (about 14.1 ounces) frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 ounces bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate, cut into sticks (or chocolate chips)
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  5. Place each rolled croissant seam-side down on the baking sheets.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the beaten egg and water; brush this mixture over the tops of the croissants.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
