- 3 cups cherries (pitted, halved)

- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 dash sea salt
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 3/4 cup UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Mix in cubed butter until crumbly and reserve 2 cups for topping.
- In another bowl, mix cherries with sugar. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs until frothy, then add sour cream, salt, and almond extract. Gradually mix in reserved flour mixture until smooth.
- Pour half the batter into the baking pan, layer with cherry filling, then pour remaining batter on top and sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
- Bake for about 60 minutes until golden brown and set. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
