Description

  • 13.8 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. Cut olives into small pieces for eyes and slice red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough onto a clean surface and cut into 12 strips.
  4. Roll each strip into a 12-inch rope, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around wooden chopsticks or metal straws in a spiral shape.
  6. Brush each snake with olive oil and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
  7. Place olive pieces on the heads for eyes.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for 11 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before removing chopsticks.
